Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn, who was born August 19, 1965 is an American actress. She also works as an actor and producer. Her most well-known work is her role as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). For her portrayal of Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 as well as an Emmy Award in 2010. The series ended following its seventh season. Sedgwick is also well-known for her role in the show in the role of Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated for a Golden Globe award in 1995 for her role on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) and What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald, an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish, and her father was an Episcopalian. She was also of English origins. Sedgwick declares that she is Jewish and claims she attends Passover seders.
