Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the oldest of three daughters. She was born to Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8]) and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate developers. Her grandfather come to Greece in 1904, and her mother was of Irish descent. In 1976, her parents were married. Psaki is of Polish ancestry. She graduated from Greenwich High School, 1996. In 2000, she earned an education from the College of William & Mary. She is a participant in Chi Omega. Psaki was an athlete in the backstroke on the William & Mary Tribe's athletic team for two years consecutively. Psaki's career path began in 2001 when she was involved in the campaigns to re-elect Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrat running for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the communications director for Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until the year 2006. MSNBC announced that Psaki will be serving as a political analyst during the 2022 United States Presidential Elections. She will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming service in 2023. Her first television appearance was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 30, where she talked about the Robb Elementary School shooting.
